Meg T. McDonnell

Meg T. McDonnell is a Washington DC-based journalist. She began her journalism career as a local freelance writer in St. Paul, Minnesota and then Chicago, Illinois. In 2011, she was awarded a full-time Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship. Her project, titled “Marriage and Young Adults: Understanding the American Struggle to Get to ‘I do,’” explored delayed marriage among American young adults. Her writing has appeared in the International Business Times, Family Foundations magazine, and AltCatholicah, among other publications. 

She’ll soon be joining the Chiaroscuro Foundation, where she’ll serve as their Director of Communications. Meg holds a Masters in Teaching and Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Catholic Studies, all from the University of St. Thomas in St Paul, MN.
