How to survive the holiday small talk of your love life
Ashley Crouch | 04 December 2012
The holidays can be fraught with stresses, but nosy family members shouldn’t be one of them. At the very least, you can tell them to stuff it and go back to enjoying your turkey!
How to orchestrate a successful set-up
Tamara Rajakariar | 30 July 2012
The art of the set-up is a tricky process. If you’ve watched one take place, you probably saw emotions ranging from acute awkwardness to utter obliviousness.
Should a guy pursue the girl, or vice versa?

Is being single silly - a reader response
Bernadette Supan | 08 May 2011
As Tamara noted, you need to be strong and able to stand by yourself before you enter a relationship. Agree – but only partially.
Dating 2011: Is being single silly?
Tamara Rajakariar | 01 May 2011
For some reason, all the single chicks in movies are the losers or pitied, unless of course they are those independent women who are hot enough to have casual sexual partners every weekend. Are these really the ideas we want young girls to live by - that single is weird unless you’re having regular sex? Not to mention the fact that this reduces entire relationships to only their physical component...
Dating 2011: ABG Maturity
Elyse Burns | 28 April 2011
This stands for ‘Austen, Bronte, and Gaskell Maturity.’ These three writers have done more for true women’s liberation than any less elegant feminist of today. The principle of my theory is simple- in the novels of Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and Elizabeth Gaskell, their heroines possess a quality some women in today’s world just don’t have.

Tamara Rajakariar | 23 April 2011

Elyse Burns | 21 April 2011
I don’t know who said that, but it is one of the truest statements I have ever heard. You can pick your friends, but you can’t pick your family. With most of our friends, there’s a point in the relationship where one or both people decide that they would like to have a deeper connection with the other.
Dating 2011: The Facebook relationship
Tamara Rajakariar | 18 April 2011
Once upon a time, word of mouth was enough to let your close friends know that there was a special man in your life. Nowadays, your relationship is only official once announced on Facebook...
Dating 2011: The Twilight Myth
Katie Hinderer | 12 April 2011
‘The Twilight Myth' which is being mistakenly accepted by so many teenagers and young adults, goes like this: You and your boyfriend have enough willpower to sleep together nightly and nothing will happen.
Dating 2011: Are you dating or seeing?
Katie Hinderer | 09 April 2011
It might seem like semantics dating, seeing, whatever. But there is a crucial difference between the two terms.
Dating in 2011
Katie Hinderer | 08 April 2011
The dating scene today is difficult to navigate and not for the faint of heart.
Women have been Eclipsed. Men suffer.
Katie Hinderer | 29 June 2010
This fact has angst-filled teens, college-aged women and even middle-aged mothers all pining for more vampire/human interaction. And that is a scary thought, especially for men everywhere. Women around the world have been eclipsed by the saga and the men are the ones who suffer.
