Katie Hinderer | 06 February 2012
I love the oversized sweater trend that made a splash this fall, but let’s be honest it is not the easiest trend to wear.

How to pack lightly

Katie Hinderer | 03 February 2012
Packing lightly and smartly takes time and practice. You need to put an effort into thinking through versatile outfits and packable clothing items.

A demure look makes a comeback

Carolyn Moynihan | 24 January 2012
The Peter Pan collar is back -- in the northern winter, at least, and how attractive it looks.

The 5 Items to Buy this Fall to Update Your Wardrobe

Katie Hinderer | 07 October 2011
I need to be selective about my purchases – which got me thinking: if I could only buy 5 new items this fall which ones would it be?

The benefit of taking outfit pictures (even if you aren’t a blogger)

Katie Hinderer | 28 September 2011
I think everyone can benefit from taking outfit pictures – especially when it comes to favored looks or ones intended for special occasions.

Katie Hinderer | 19 September 2011
Three years ago, New York started the first ever Fashion’s Night Out. The event, held on the first official day of fashion week, is basically one big party throughout the city. Nearly every store in Manhattan opens its doors for the evening to show off the incoming fall trends.

Why bare all or nothing? Isn’t there a happy medium?

Katie Hinderer | 04 July 2011

Thank you Kate Middelton

Katie Hinderer | 11 May 2011
I saw the tweets about the dress before I saw it. Knowing that it was an Alexander McQueen dress I had a cringe moment. The designer, who passed away last year, was known for his envelope-pushing designs and bold statements. Then I saw the picture and had a momentary vision of Grace Kelly. Elegance, Grace. Refinement. She was stunning and all covered up!

Forget fashion, It’s all about style

Tamara Rajakariar | 11 February 2011
But with this concept of lasting style – wearing what suits my colouring, shape and personal taste as opposed to sticking only to what mass production has to offer – the world of style has finally opened its doors to me.

The new vintage inspired women

Katie Hinderer | 07 February 2011
The article reported the increasing popularity of vintage-inspired dresses, reminiscent of women from the 1940s and 1950s. Now more than the previous generation, women have taken to cinched waists, shapely dresses, pencil skirts and tucked-in blouses.

Endless outfits with limited clothing

Katie Hinderer | 30 December 2010
The key to a great wardrobe, for both guys and girls, is the ability to mix and match the various items in order to create new looks with the same pieces.
