There was a little uproar because one of the half-time performers flipped her middle finger at the camera. But, to me, this was nothing compared to the blatant sexism that was in many of the commercials aired that night. It’s high time for women to stop being inserted into commercials like one more object.

But the random Twitter and Facebook comments of fans who were doing their best to rile up Packers fans until the moment we knew lost was inevitable aren’t as interesting as the tweets teammates, fellow football players and commentators were posting to the web. Suddenly Cutler’s injury was a thing of disgrace.
