American teens are heading abstinence programs

The report states that 29% of females and 27% of males aged 15 to 24 years have never had sexual contact with another person. The figure, which was compiled from studies conducted from 2006 to 2008, is higher that the results published in 2002.

Parents need to ask the hard questions

Last week’s post about attire and the male versus female mind has drawn a lot of comments. All the discussion got me thinking about where the solution can be found. I was toying with the role parents’ play when Carlos hit the nail on the head; saying girls “need strong fathers to say NO and strong mothers to explain why!!”
