How to host a clothing swap
Katie Hinderer | 27 January 2012
A few months ago I hosted my very first clothing swap. The premise is simple, every attendee brings gently used clothing that they are no longer using. You get the chance to get rid of things you can't fit into or are no longer interested in and can take home someone else's quality castaways.
30 for 30 – Repurposing your wardrobe
Katie Hinderer | 28 December 2010
This week I finished a 30-day fashion blogger challenge. I had to pick 30 items from my closet (including shoes but excluding accessories) and remix them into 30 different outfits to be worn over a 30-day period. No outfit repeats, no shopping during that time and no wearing an item that is not part of the 30 pre-picked items.

The more I read those articles the more annoyed I become with the idea of must-haves.
The shift to thrift
Katie Hinderer | 01 December 2010

Guys: speak up, go shopping
Katie Hinderer | 10 May 2010
Dads, brothers, close friends or relatives need to take advantage of the situation and speak up when they see a girl close to them dressing or behaving in a way that is not in keeping with their true worth.
