The Prayer Book did Harry and Meghan proud

Let's be honest, there was only one topic of conversation in the office this morning: the Royal Wedding. Like them or lump them the British royals command a style that is hard to match in an age of visual communication. What's more, they are Anglicans, with their pick of stunning churches in which to mark the great events of life and faith. Above all, they have The Book of Common Prayer, or modern versions of it, that articulates the Christian vision of marriage in language that is both solemn and beautiful. That is what took me back to the television at 11pm on Saturday night -- and I do not regret it.
