At least they're having a debate

For some backers of abortion and embryonic stem cell research and
euthanasia….the definition of life is a moving target, as best fits
their agenda.

The Irish Senate is set to debate it, over a bill about embryonic research.

The Bill provides for fines of up to €250,000 for breaches of its main provisions.

Mr Mullen said the proposed measure was limited in its scope; it did
not deal with reproductive matters. He thought it was very important
that when they discussed these “profound matters relating to when life
begins”, there would be respect for all views.

When life begins is not a view but biological fact. However, it’s nice that they’re determined to be respectful while deliberating over it.
