They’re working hard in Congress to keep the health care overhaul legislation from mandating abortion, disguised in the langauge as “essential care”.

And they were one of the organizations represented on the historical pro-life summit webcast last Thursday to stop the mandate and ask Congress to add wording to the bill that will explicity exclude abortion.

One participant representing pregnancy-help centers said “I really
believe this mandate is an assault on the dignity of the human person.”
