Father really does know best

Nicholas wants to be just like his father- fearless, but there are still things that frighten him:  the dark, insects, heights. To overcome his anxiety, he brings his toy dinosaur with him everywhere.

After soccer one day, the dinosaur is missing. How will Nicholas survive? When Dad arrives home later in the evening, Nicholas learns that his father understands and is willing to help.

Gennifer Choldenko’s tribute to fathers is a treasure. It captures the tenderness of a father’s love, the close bond he can have with his son and the admiration of a young boy for the most important role model in his life.

Jennifer Minicus is a teacher currently living in Ridgewood, NJ.
