Next Wednesday, February 27, the Home Rennaissance Foundation launches its Homemakers Project in London, an international effort to draw attention to and support the unsung but vital work of the home.
Well-known British chef and food writer Prue Leith is keen on the project and speaks in the above video about introducing children to good eating eating habits and engaging their parents as well. It's not just about food, she points out, but about the family communicating with one another over the dinner table.

“We have to put more emphasis on learning skills for life,” says Prue Leith, one of the project’s enthusiasts. “And interestingly, some of the academics in our schools are doing that because they realise actually the most important thing is to teach children how to live, which means teaching them how to be at home.”
Other hgih profile supporters are Aggie McKenzie, host of the TV show How Clean Is Your House, and architect Piers Gough. All have spoken at Home Renaissance conferences.
