Every parent who has read a bedtime story will enjoy this realistic and humorous story. Little Chicken has heard the stories her father reads to her so many times, that she knows them by heart. She cannot resist the temptation to interrupt her father and finish the stories as she sees fit. Indeed, her endings demonstrate much more common sense and good judgment than any of the characters in the tales display. Exasperated, her father allows her to tell her own story. Before long Little Chicken realizes her father has done what countless parents have done during a bedtime story: he has fallen asleep.
