Most powerful cartoon of the year?

 

One of our readers described this cartoon by Michael Ramirez as "the most powerful political cartoon of the year". It certainly packs a punch. Is it too defensive? Too negative about the media? What do you think?

Ramirez is a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner. "Editorial cartoons should be smart and substantive, provocative and informative," he says. "They should stir passions and deep emotions. Editorial cartoons should be the catalyst for thought, and frankly speaking, if you can make politicians think, that is an accomplishment in itself."
