Just heard and saw this on the news. President Barack Obama speaking
to House Democrats at a Virginia retreat. He cracked a joke about the
reputation of his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, as being rough and
harsh and tough-talking.

With a smile on his face, Obama said “That’s not true. He’s a good
guy. He actually volunteers once a week to teach profanity to
schoolchildren.” Then he laughed at his own joke.

Not funny. Or appropriate.
