The evolution of the swimsuit

I realise that it isn’t summer, so we’re not all in the process of finding new swimsuits. However I was sent this video and I find it rather interesting. Enter actress and swimsuit designer, Jessica Rey, and her belief that when it comes to women’s swimwear, it doesn’t have to be “itsy bitsy”.
Rey points out how much times have really changed – from back in the day when women were transferred directly into the water via a kind of portable mini house (even while wearing unrevealing swimmers) to today, where even street fashion has taken on the proportions of a bikini. And with it, unfortunately, the level of respect towards women could also be said to have taken a hit.
What you wear on the beach is a personal choice, and one can notice Rey’s reasons for preferring a full-piece swimming suit. However I think that this video is a must-watch for women before the hit the beach later in the year. Take a look!
