The Washington Circus
Sorry, couldn’t avoid that call. As the Harry Reid affair continues
to build steam and draw fire and counter-volleys among political
partisans…..it’s getting to be the latest spectator sport.
Of course there are double-standards in politics and media. Why are highly-paid network people batting that question around? Of course
there’s media bias, that’s old news. With more citizen journalism
available than ever before, and more readiness to clean up politics and
restore order and civility, we should be holding public officials
thought-leaders accountable.
Why didn’t that remark by Sen. Reid about Barack Obama, made in
front of reporters in the 2008 campaign, get reported on before now?
Why did it take the release of a new book by two journalists at the
beginning of 2010 to reveal something strikingly offensive to many
Americans and potentially consequential for a high-ranking
Democrat……that they heard in 2008?
Just a thought…..a) to protect a favored party and b) to sell books.
