The Republicans are searching for themselves, and turning up in plenty of media scrutiny and late night comedy routines.

But a funny thing happened on The Daily Show last night (there’s a
joke in there somewhere…). Jon Stewart did one of his familiar montages
of news clips that always leave someone looking foolish and maybe
pompous. But it’s often Republicans or Fox News or both. This time, it
was the excessive drama in MSNBC’s and CNN’s reporting on the
Republicans.
