Prince William has said that he would "fully support his children if they told him they were gay, insisting it would be 'absolutely fine by me'." (Telegraph, June 27, 2019).

The Duke of Cambridge made the statement while visiting the Albert Kennedy Trust, which supports LGBT young people who are at risk of homelessness. He was officially opening the Trust's new services ahead of the annual Pride in London parade, and to mark the 50^th anniversary of the Stonewall riots in New York, which launched the modern "gay" movement. It is unlikely, though, that his children will be allowed to witness the open displays of adult sexuality typical of such "Pride" marches.

In contrast, even if most children are protected from such displays, they will still face LGBT+ themes in popular entertainment, TV advertisements and even drag queens reading "diversity" stories in the public library. And they will attend state schools where they will be introduced to such issues at the age of four. So while it is highly unlikely that Prince William’s children will declare themselves to be gay, ordinary parents may not be so lucky.

Even while he bestows the royal seal of approval on the LGBT+ "community", most children will be subjected to sexual diversity brainwashing in school in what amounts to an exercise in grooming, leaving them vulnerable to sexual predators. For years gay campaigners sought to disassociate themselves from public perceptions of paedophilia, insisting that they were not interested in children. Now, in an astonishingly swift reversal of fortunes, anyone who expresses concerns about the introduction of such adult preoccupations to children is accused of being a homophobic bigot. 

Prince William and Kate are anxious to portray themselves as just an ordinary family, but they enjoy privileges that are denied to the vast majority. They should be wary of helping to build up another, seemingly unassailable privileged ruling class with an increasing tendency to lord it over everyone else.

The only thing that worries him as a parent is "How many barriers you know, hateful words, persecution, all that and discrimination that might come, that's the bit that really troubles me."

Prince William may think that is all he has to worry about, but it will be too late to complain if his sons turn into princesses, and his daughter becomes a prince.
