Britain’s Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has vowed to lead a demonstration against Donald Trump during his State visit and has refused to meet him. House of Commons Speaker John Bercow won’t shake hands either. London Mayor Sadik Khan has likened Mr Trump to a 1930s-style fascist and is allowing the flotation of the offensive “Baby Trump” blimp over London.

The Greens are expending a great deal of hot air about the President’s approach to climate change, and a couple of females of late-middle age, clad in bonnets and red cloaks are protesting his record on women’s rights. (“Corbyn to lead protests against Trump,” Telegraph, June 4, 2019)

Yet Mr Corbyn has no problem associating with terrorist supporters; Mr Bercow has shown himself to be a far from neutral Speaker, Mr Khan seems not to know what real fascism is, while the Greens have little to say about Chinese carbon emissions.

Meanwhile, the abortion campaign has been calling for a ban on free speech outside abortion clinics -- with much political support from the left-liberal political establishment. Already two such “(free speech) exclusion zones” have been established.

And now, Birmingham parents have had a High Court injunction slapped on them for daring to protest outside Anderton Park Primary School against the indoctrination of their children via the laughably ill-named No Outsiders programme.

Far from being champions of the right to free speech, the Trump-taunters only support it when they wish to claim it for themselves. As to their stance on the right to life, that too is selective.

Mr Trump has done much to protect innocent life by attempting to withdraw taxpayer funding from major abortion provider Planned Parenthood, while his political opponents are busy legalising abortion up to birth.

For his efforts Mr Trump is condemned as a villain who has attacked women's rights, while his critics ignore real misogynists like jailed abortionist/practitioner of infanticide Kermit Gosnell; Planned Parenthood’s trade in foetal body parts and the millions of unborn babies killed by them; and the millions of “missing women,” victims of sex-selective abortion.

Not to mention countries like North Korea and Venezuela,

And when do these champions of freedom speak up about North Korea, where nobody has a voice, let alone a vote; or Venezuela, where your vote counts for nothing if it is not for the socialist big brother who feeds himself and lets his opponents starve?

They ignore the focus of this State visit -- the dead heroes of D-Day. At a time when historic allies are commemorating the human sacrifice of so many, it is passing strange that so much fury should be directed at a world leader attempting to save lives, while there is an eerie silence about real dictators everywhere.

With their abortion fanaticism they are even trying to increase the numbers of innocent lives taken, as if countless millions are not enough. They pride themselves on their consistency, but in reality they are consistent opponents of life.
